If someone rapes a cow, steals and kills her child so she can be milked, and you think this is absolutly okay, than you *are* opressing the animal, you rip it off of his basic needs and well-being. Gane, I have to point out that “Harm None” isn’t Wiccan, either. The Wiccan Rede consists of eight words (“An it harm none, do what ye will”), not two, and the gist of the Rede has nothing to do with never harming anything, ever.

Seriously. As a feminist and a Pagan I feel SUPER insulted. If I lived in a place where I could buy eggs from farmers that I know how they treat their animals? I would. Believe me. Fresh eggs are the greatest thing ever, and mom and pop farms are usually very good about how they keep their chickens. 

But I’m not driving an hour to the nearest Farm that sells them, I’m just not. I can’t afford that. You can never convince me to stop drinking milk, or eating cheese, ever. My body starts to rebel and ache and cramp and hurt if I stop. I went two weeks without a glass of milk and was limping around for days. So, Yeah. 

I like eating animals, I do. They’re delicious. Chicken especially. They should be treated better in MOST places, yes, but I’m still going to eat them. My diet and what I choose to consume has 0 to do with feminism. How dare you even say that it does?

I’m sorry if you’re insulted. I’m not into “Good Mag(j)ic(k).” I’ve been know to curse and promote suffering to people who wrong me. Not usually, mind, but I have done it, and I’ll do it again. Hell, Sometimes, I just tell people I’m doing it to freak them out, because I’m that much of a bitch. 

It’s not that I don’t care about animal suffering. I really do, I want to make sure they’re treated well. I use cruelty free products, I’ve saved more animals, personally from harm than anyone else I know. Including my vegan friends, mind you, because I’m the one everyone calls to come rescue them. I mean, friends of friends have called me to come help them save some bunny or cat or snake or Dog or bird whatever it is that’s stuck/injured/suffering. So, Fuck you.

As a woman I have PERSONALLY experienced a lower pay rate than me who do less and worse work than me. I’ve PERSONALLY had men sexually harass me in my work place and have it be “okay.” I’ve PERSONALLY been sexualized and ASSULTED because I wasn’t up for some “fun” by a man who wanted me to touch his dick.  Fuck you. I’m a feminist.

People tell me that my tits should be “open to the public” because they’re so big they’re a “gift to everyone.” and “Why don’t I want people touching them/talking about them/ showing them off.” Fuck you, I’m a feminist.

There was a (trans)woman at school when I went there. She wanted to be call “she” and people gave her crap about it. We were friends, not close, because we were different ages, but we talked and hung out sometimes. I fought, and when I say fought I mean, I punched some guy because he was harrassing her. Fuck you. I’m a feminist. 

I don’t care more about a chicken because I’m too busy fighting for MY OWN rights. I help promote animal care when I can, but I’m not crazy enough to think that the fight for Animal Rights = Feminist issue. It doesn’t, and it does NOT matter to me as much as the fight for Equal Rights for every human. 

And the fact that the path I’m on as a Pagan is acctually MORE likely to make me open to animal sacrifice and using things like animal bones/blood/meat should clue you into how VERY much what I consume and keeping animals alive is not a part of Paganism.

A bat got in the house today. It was super cute… but it kept coming at me like a ninja. Not cool. 

It finally left after it peed on me.

My mom hid in her bed room while Eman and I cowered on the floor with the dog, All the doors in the house were open. It took a long time for it to figure out where OUT was. 

Why do animals always come to visit me in not so welcome ways? I feel bad the cat almost got him a few times. I hope he’s okay.

I have no words for how much rage this makes me feel.

*Wash Hard boiled eggs with Soap and Water (this will help with the dying process) Let cool* 

Making Dye: you’ll probably get messy!!
Add Dyeing Agent to sauce pan. A couple handfuls+/ a couple Tbs+ (powders)
Add Water: about a cup or two depending on how much dye you want
Add 1 Tbs Vinegar
Bring mixture to boil
Reduce Heat and let simmer for 30 mins- 1 hr. or until the desired color 
Strain mixture into a jar/cup: Coffee Filters, Mesh strainers work well. I use Cheesecloth because I can squeeze it. I, also, add a pinch of the dye agent back into the dye mostly to help me keep track of what color the dye is. (Also! Post It notes!)
Put eggs into dye! The hotter the dye the more vibrant/even the colors tend to be. Keep them in the dye anywhere from a few seconds to over night. 

Fun things to play with!

Leaf Patterns!

(Before Dyeing) Place leaves on eggs and hold in place with stockings. Insert into Dye mixture (more info)

Painted wax designs!

light candle, use paint brush to paint wax on Egg, Dye!, Remove wax! (More info!) 

• Drip wax for more organic shapes!
• Drip Dye for more interesting colors!
• crayons can be used instead!
